Come for a Day
Enjoy a day in nature and connection!
On many Wednesdays and Sundays, Taa-naash-kaa-da welcomes visitors to join us in an Every Day is Earth Day. Please check our calendar or contact our email us to confirm a date. We look forward to seeing you here!
Typical Every Day is Earth Day Schedule
Please arrive by 9:45am and make your way to the Class Port in the Hub of Infinity. If you arrive early, feel free to enjoy a cup of tea. (*PhotoPortal runs 5:30-9:30 pm and begins with Potluck)
10:00am – Activity/Talk/Ceremony
See below for date & activity being offered.
12:30pm – Making Relations Lunch
Eating is a community building practice. We connect with others in the present moment and eat as a family, with a sense of joy, ease, and gratitude. On the Fourth Sunday we have a Silent Lunch.
1:30pm – Rest on the Mother
Registration is not required for Every Day is Earth Day, but please RSVP in advance if you are planning to come with a group of more than five people.
There is no fee for taking part in an Every Day is Earth Day, but we suggest a donation of $10 to $20 per person. Donations are our main source of support, so every offering is greatly appreciated. Your contribution can help us us to keep the ranch open all year. You can make your offering utilizing our Paypal service, or on the day the day you join us through the basket we send around.
School & Group Programming
During May - October we offer special school and group programming, including 2-3 night camps. A short Land Etiquette Talk is offered, followed by inspiring games and activities including art, meditation, nature walks, and singing. The program is custom tailored to individual group needs and interests. If you are interested in more information, follow this link to our EarthWisdom Outdoor Programming.
Taa-naash-kaa-da is deeply committed to inclusiveness. If you have a particular need for assistance, please contact us so we can offer you as much support as possible. Our walks are easy to mildly stressful in rating, the land being semi level with no steep inclines or any climbing. All meals are potluck.
What to Wear
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and shoes that are comfortable for hiking on nature trails so you can fully enjoy the outdoor walking exploration with the community. Also, please avoid wearing perfumes or other products that may affect those who are sensitive or allergic to scents – including the animals.
